This afternoon I did a search on ebay and found a complete 1868 rear sight assy w/slide screw & spring - $140 delivered. Crazy luck there. Cant wait until I get it. I looked at the one on the 68 I just got and it looks like it had a leaf that was sheared off at it's base. So all I need now is a triggerguard bow w/sling loop and a cleaning rod !.Dick Hosmer wrote: ↑Tue May 13, 2025 4:40 am I can help with a trigger guard assembly (and would beat the dealer price) but would have to see a photo of the sight prep to tell you if its' been monkeyed with. The base IS very similar to the CW style. I do not believe that I have a sight - but will check.
Do not have a rod, but can provide you with a guard bow and swivel assembly if you wish. Do you need the two little nuts?gew98 wrote: ↑Sat Jun 07, 2025 1:50 amThis afternoon I did a search on ebay and found a complete 1868 rear sight assy w/slide screw & spring - $140 delivered.
